FOR DISABLED PERSONSScuba diving is becoming a popular activity for disabled people all over the world. For some of them it’s just a funny activity but for others it has therapeutic qualities because it’s easy to move in the water for the different buoyancy or for the beneficial phycological effects due to underwater world interaction. How to become a diverThere are two agencies for specific training: IAHD (International Association for Handicapped Divers) and HSA (American Handicapped Scuba Association). What we can doWe are able to offer diving services for disabled certified divers, with all the assistance they need during our excursions. What we can’ t doAt the moment there are no IAHD or HAS instructors at the diving centre. We can give all the indications and contacts to attend a specific diving course in the our area. What you have to knowIn order to have a scuba diving certification it’ s necessary to have all the water skills required for each educational program. It’ s possible that your handicap is not an obstacle to attend a course of the scuba agencies we teach. For further information don’ t hesitate to contact us. |
