Sardinia is known for being a windy island!

However our East coast is protected by the North West wind which could be very strong in the West coast.

Mistral is not a problem. Coming from the land it makes the sea flat as a lake. These are the best conditions to appreciate the amazing colours of our beautiful sea.

Only the North wind oblige us to take a rest, but it’s very unusual.

Sirocco is the dominant wind. For the particular morphology of the area, it is like a sea breeze. During daytime the increasing temperature of the ground produces low pressure conditions; in this case fresh air existing on the sea is coming on this side of the island. The result is a light fresh wind coming from the sea, starting from late in the morning and increasing in strength during lunch time while it drops the late afternoon, when the trend is inverted.

No problem for our dives in this case!
